Breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the scenery on the winding trails that make their way across this thick pine forest. The trails are varied enough to challenge all levels of runners with terrific views of La Orotava valley down below and Mt. Teide on the horizon.
Gateway to the largest forest on Tenerife, La Esperanza will impress with green pines, cypresses and eucalyptus trees, some of which can soar as high as 40 metres. The forest paths are occasionally interrupted by natural viewpoints, giving the area its well-deserved reputation as a firm favourite among hikers and runners from near and far.
Get mesmerized by the natural beauty of magical Anaga as you make your way across ancient paths surrounded by lush laurisilva trees. The geologically rich area offers naturally varied terrain while playing host to a significant diversity of wildlife including reptiles and birds. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or beginner, we’re sure you’re going to love these trails.
Teide National Park (Roques de García)
The trails crisscrossing in Teide National Park are a real treat for runners to explore. The volcanic landscape comprised of hundreds of bizarre rock formations is so out of this world, you could easily think you’re running on the moon. The high altitude combined with heat and humidity makes it a perfect run for anyone looking for a bit of a challenge.

I booked three different activities (Whale watching, kayaking, horseriding) for the last week of July, under a week before I emailed to enquire about how to pay by card, at... read more which point I was told the "company was going through changes" and the kayaking & horse riding were cancelled, but the whale watching "should still be going ahead".
Two days later I was emailed to say the whale watching was now cancelled as well.
They have since then cited staff sickness and the fact the last week of July is "low season" as the reason for this (not even lack of bookings which would be more understandable). The fact is they took no steps to notify me the activities were now cancelled (still available to book now on their website incidentally) isn't confidence building. I have a feeling I would've only found out about the cancellations at last minute if I'd not emailed them.
They did respond to me after I commented on facebook to get in touch and they could help put me in touch with other operators, but I have a feeling this is only because I left a public comment.
Very disappointed - their activities looked great with great selections, but that's no use if they don't actually happen.
