Our tour begins at your hotel where one of our guides will pick you up for the ride towards Erjos.
At the agricultural mountain village of Erjos we start our hike from the local cafe and head towards Teno range, passing by Charcos de Erjos: a rare wetlands which are a delight for bird observers. Then up to Cruz de Gala mountain pass alternating northern laurisilva forest with southern Canarian pine forest.
From there along the Masca ridge towards El Bolico, this upper part path goes through forests mostly, so it is very good for hot seasons. There are stunning views over the Masca gorges to the Atlantic with La Gomera and La Palma islands in the background.
Descending towards the small agricultural village of Las Portelas the hike ends at a local farmhouse, where we may try some local products. The hike may take 3-4 hours to complete. From there we go by road to the historical colonial town of Garachico.
Here we will have some time to explore, enjoy the many terraces or visit the scars left by the volcanic eruption that destroyed the town in 1706
This is a small group tour – Travel comfortably in our private van and enjoy the company of your friendly guides and fellow guests.

Two days later I was emailed to say the whale watching was now cancelled as well.
They have since then cited staff sickness and the fact the last week of July is "low season" as the reason for this (not even lack of bookings which would be more understandable). The fact is they took no steps to notify me the activities were now cancelled (still available to book now on their website incidentally) isn't confidence building. I have a feeling I would've only found out about the cancellations at last minute if I'd not emailed them.
They did respond to me after I commented on facebook to get in touch and they could help put me in touch with other operators, but I have a feeling this is only because I left a public comment.
Very disappointed - their activities looked great with great selections, but that's no use if they don't actually happen. More
